To Eunice Anderson (Readers' Forum, Aug. 3) and others who were disappointed in the TV replay of the Tabernacle Choir's 75th Anniversary concert: This concert was inspired by the PBS Documentary "America's Choir: The Story of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir," which will be shown locally in its entirety on Sept. 26, and nationally on Thanksgiving November 25. The DVD is available in local stores now. Contractual agreements prevented the producers of the concert from using either Charles Osgood — (the documentary is actually voiced by Walter Cronkite) or the historical vignettes.

As wonderful as the vignettes and the narration are — and they are spectacular — it's the choir, the orchestra and their inspired music that bring this production to life.
