PLEASANT GROVE Drivers in Pleasant Grove are used to it.
State Street changes from a five-lane to a two-lane highway between 100 East and 200 South.
In this same place Union Pacific Railroad constructed a bridge in 1937.
Now, UDOT seeks public input on solutions for the bridge to alleviate growing traffic congestion and bottleneck problems at the underpass.
A public meeting will be held Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Jacobs Senior Center, 242 W. 200 South. No formal presentation will be made, but area residents and businesses are encouraged to attend the open house.
For information, call UDOT at 227-8000 or Stephanee Eastman, who works for Horrocks Engineers, at 763-5100 or via e-mail at stephe@horrocks.com.
