Finally, she was accepted into the media music program at Brigham Young University, ("it was a miracle," she says) and she began serious study.

But her life took another turn when she married and became the mother of two children. So now she's still going to school part time ("I have three semesters left"), juggling the demands of home and family, and has just recorded her first CD. One son is 3 years old; "the other was a newborn when we started recording. I would take him into the studio with me."

So, it has been a lot of hard work. But it has also brought rewards. "In my head, I knew it was a long shot. But in my heart, I knew I would find a way to do it. I want to share my testimony of Christ through music. I want to help people, to inspire them to develop their own talents."

Gledhill has toured with Kenneth Cope and Jenny Phillips. "Kenneth has helped me find my voice," she says. "He as taught me how to sing with my soul — to really spill my guts out."

But she also credits her Heavenly Father. "I really believe God wanted this album to be created. I showed him I was ready to work, and he showed me the opportunities. I don't completely view this music as mine."
