Noon-11 p.m., Pioneer Festival and Territorial Fair at This Is the Place Heritage Park, 2601 E. Sunnyside Ave. (800 South), Salt Lake City. Celebrate the arrival of the pioneers to the Salt Lake Valley right where the trail ended. Music and dance workshops will be held, pioneer parade, patriotic ceremony, recitations and speeches by notable pioneers, children's pioneer activities, puppet shows and the music of The Beehive Jubliee. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children
