After two and half years, the Bureau of Land Management has drafted a plan to manage more than 2.5 million acres of public lands in Carbon and Emery counties.
The land-use plan for BLM's Price field office is the first of seven draft plans that will be released over the next few years. The draft plan is available for a 90-day comment period, which ends Oct. 15.
Public meetings will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. at the following locations:
Museum of San Rafael, 96 N. 100 East, Castle Dale, Aug. 24
J. W. Powell River History Museum, 885 E. Main, Green River, Aug. 25
Holiday Inn, 838 Westwood Blvd., Price, Aug. 26
Best Western Salt Lake Plaza Hotel, 122 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City, Aug. 31
