Christina Axson-Flynn's lawsuit with the U. of U. brought back a flood of memories of a similar situation I ran into when I re-entered BYU at age 41 in 1993. The College of Fine Arts-sponsored BYU Film Club was bringing in hard "R" rated feature films to publicly view on campus.

The College of Humanities-sponsored International Cinema program occasionally showed explicit nudity in feature films.

One floor down from the honor code office, where students were kicked out for calling up such things on a computer, students were forced to view explicit movies as part of various academic programs. The U. of U. situation where a student's morality and personal standards were challenged was not a unique situation.
