"I mean, clearly it's 'he said, she said,' " Miller said. "And if you listen to (Cavs general manager Jim) Paxson's side, or you listen to (ex-agent Rob) Pelinka's and Boozer's side, there was a real serious disconnect. And it's hard for me to know who to believe."

He is not alone.

"I hope that Carlos (Boozer) or Rob Pelinka didn't make the commitments Cleveland said they made," Miller said. "But, you have to turn right around and ask, 'Well, if they did, why would Cleveland ask for them in the first place?'

"So, what I've decided is not to try to play Solomon on that, or judge-and-jury. I just said in the meeting, 'Are we clean? Is there any rule we're violating? And (NBA officials) said 'Not by the book.' And I said, 'So what about morally?' They said, 'You are playing by the rules. Go for it.' "

The Jazz did just that.

"I don't know what else you can do," Miller said.
