In response to Art J. VanTielen's letter ("Confused about doctrine," Forum, July 10) as well as other recent letters that have continued the LDS doctrine and Democratic Party debate, I would like to contribute one additional thought.
It is absolutely amazing to me that anyone would think the LDS Church leadership would ever officially, or unofficially, support or endorse one political party over another. The sacred doctrines of free agency and accountability underscore the importance of political choice.
