How the water flows to the Wasatch Front from the Colorado River:
The water starts its journey in the Uinta Mountains. Through a series of tunnels it flows through the Upper Stillwater and Currant Creek reservoirs into Strawberry Reservoir. From Strawberry Reservoir the water flows through Diamond Fork System tunnels, finally ending up in Spanish Fork River and eventually Utah Lake. The delivery to Utah Lake complates an exchange of Provo River water that is diverted to Wasatch, north Utah and Salt Lake counties.
