LOS ANGELES (AP) — Anthony J. "Tony" Hope, son of the late entertainer Bob Hope and former head of the National Indian Gaming Commission, died Monday, his sister said. He was 63.

Hope died at his home in Washington, D.C., after a brief undisclosed illness, Linda Hope said from her home in Los Angeles.

His death comes nearly a year after the death of his father, Bob Hope, who was 100 when he died of pneumonia on July 27, 2003.
