Park City: July 4, 7 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., 5K walk/run; 8 a.m. 3 mile run at Cole Sport, 1615 Park Ave.; 11 a.m. parade down Main Street, annual doubles volleyball tournament, events at park; 7 p.m. Deer Valley Music Festival, presented by the Utah Symphony & Opera, at Deer Valley Outdoor Amphitheatre; dusk, fireworks at park.
Tooele County
Grantsville: July 1, 7 p.m. Ivey Garden, Little Miss Grantsville Contest; July 2, 7 p.m. Scholarship Pageant; 9:30 p.m. dusk to dawn tennis tournament; July 3, 6:30 a.m. Ray Barrus 5K Race; 8 a.m. flag ceremony at fire station; 10:30 a.m. breakfast, parade lineup; 11 a.m. parade; noon festival starts at Cherry Street Park, bicycle judging and float awards presentation, car show, live entertainment; 4 p.m. youth rodeo; 10 p.m. fireworks at Cherry Street Park; 10:30 p.m. all night karaoke.
Utah County
Lehi: July 5, 10 p.m. fireworks at Thanksgiving Point.
Orem: July 5, noon, fair with booths, activities, products and continuous live entertainment at the McKay Events Center; 6 p.m. "One Nation Under God Rally," featured speaker Alan Keyes.
