Kaysville: July 2-3, noon-11 p.m. carnival rides southwest area of the DATC; July 2, 5-8 p.m. Pasta on the Plaza with entertainment, west side of DATC.; July 3, 6:30 a.m. -10:45, breakfast West Side of DATC, 5K and 10K Run; 7:30-10 p.m., Davis High football stadium; 11 a.m. - parade; 5 - 9 p.m. Multicultural Festival Dinner; 10 p.m. fireworks.
Layton: July 4, 7 p.m. Voices of Liberty Choir festival at Ed Kenley Amphitheater; July 5, 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. breakfast in the Bowery; 6:45 a.m. 5K fun run/walk; 8 a.m. flag-raising ceremony; 10:30 a.m. parade; 12:30 p.m. children's carnival, concessions and entertainment at Layton Commons Park; 8 p.m. New American Symphony with Cannoneers at Kenley Amphitheater; 10 p.m. fireworks.
West Bountiful: July 3, 8 a.m. groundbreaking for the new city hall 550 N. 800 West; 10 a.m. parade followed by activities in West Bountiful park; July 4, 7 a.m., local park.
Duchesne County
Tabiona: July 2, 5 p.m. rodeo; 9 p.m. dance; July 3, 6 a.m. flag-raising ceremony, 7 a.m. Boy Scout breakfast; 10 a.m. parade on Main Street followed by patriotic program at church; 1 p.m. rodeo; 9 p.m. dance; fireworks at dusk.
Garfield County
Tropic: July 3, 6 p.m. dinner in park, 40 N. 300 West; July 4, afternoon rodeo, dusk, fireworks; July 5, 7 a.m. Lion's Club breakfast, 10 a.m. children's parade; 10:30 a.m. patriotic program, followed by festivities with food and games.
Iron County
Brian Head: July 2-4, summer arts and crafts festival; July 3, pancake breakfast; July 4, "Red, White and Blues" concert followed by fireworks at dusk.
Cedar City: July 5, 9:30 a.m. parade. Followed by festival and entertainment at Main Park; fireworks at dusk at field behind Super Wal-Mart.
