July 1-4 — 36th Annual Northern Ute 4th of July Pow Wow at Fort Duchesne. Experience Native American, contest Pow Wow dances, along with authentic Native American arts & crafts and food booths. July 1-4 — Hyrum's Star-Spangled Week. This will be a city festival with a rodeo, parade, fireworks, activities, booths, food and fun. 435-245-6033.

July 3-4 — Black Hawk Mountain Man Rendezvous in Mt. Pleasant. Contests include black powder, knife throwing, trading, demonstrations, Dutch oven cook-offs, Native American dancers and period music. Events begin at 6:30 p.m. on July 3 and 9 a.m. on the 4th. Call 435-462-0152 or 801-785-6639.

July 2-3 — Annual Neola 4th of July Rodeo. Neola's annual rodeo is Utah's oldest consecutively running rodeo. The rodeo includes two days of activities and begins this year on the 2nd of July with a world famous chicken barbecue. Immediately following the barbecue is the fun kids rodeo, which includes rabbit, chicken and pig chases. Call 435-353-4334.

July 2-3 — Big Apple Days. 4th of July parade begins at 10 a.m. in Torrey on Main Street. Dutch oven contest, craft and flea markets, quilt show, games for kids, car show, barbecue and dance on Main Street. Call 435-425-3365.

July 3 — 4th of July Demolition Derby at Millard County Fairgrounds in Delta. Starts at 6 p.m. Fireworks after the derby. Full day of events from 9 a.m. Call 435-864-5009

July 3 — Kanab's Independence Day breakfast, parade, street fair, barbecue dinner, entertainment, dance and fireworks. Call 435-644-2572

July 3 — Observe the sun through special solar telescopes in Murray. Call 435-882-1209.

July 3-5 — Cache Valley Cruise-in.This is one of the largest vintage, hot rod and collectible car shows in the western United States. The event draws car lovers from across the country. There are exhibit booths, entertainers, food and a display of more than 1,000 cars and trucks. Call 435- 258-5493.

July 4 — Fourth Celebration in Blanding starts with a parade at 10 a.m., with games, concessionaires and culminating with a fireworks display at dusk. Call 435-678-2791 or 435-678-3698.

July 4 — Halls Crossing Fourth of July. A day of fun and games on the shores of Lake Powell. Fireworks across the lake after dark. Call 435-684-3000.

July 4 — Fourth of July celebration in the park in Moab. Starts with a parade and ends with an evening of live bands, mutton bustin', games for the kids and more. Call 435-259-4406.
