Literary footnotes

TODD NOKER, local X96 D.J. and author of "Rated F"; ARTHUR EDWARDS, author of "Stuck Outside of Phoenix"; and AEON SAGE, author of "Sacrificing Safety," will form a panel to discuss each of their books, followed by a signing, Tuesday, 7:30 p.m., Barnes & Noble, Murray.

JOHN SILLITO, professor of libraries, Weber State University, and author of "History's Apprentice: The Diaries of B.H. Roberts, 1880-1898," will sign copies of his book Thursday, 5-7 p.m., Benchmark Books, 3269 S. Main, Suite 250. Sillito will speak about the book at 6 p.m.

DAVID H. LEVY, famed astronomer and author of "Cosmic Discoveries: The Wonder of Astronomy," among other books, and noted comet hunter, will present the Salt Lake Public Library's Dewey Lecture, July 10, 7:30 p.m., titled "Joining Science and Literature: Shakespeare, Eclipses and Changing Ideas of the Cosmos." Free tickets for this event will be available beginning Saturday at all city library locations. Tickets for the reception at 6 p.m. are available at the Library Store (Main Library) for $50 per person ($35 if four or more tickets are purchased at one time).
