The AJGA Glenwild Junior, featuring top junior golfers from all over the United States and Canada, will be played at the Glenwild Golf Club and Spa today through Thursday.
The 84-golfer field features boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18, including eight from Utah. Golfers from 14 different states and Canada will compete in the 54-hole tournament, which is part of the American Junior Golf Association series.
Canadian Peter Ahn was the low qualifier in Sunday's qualifying tournament at Park Meadows Golf Club. Ahn, a 17-year-old from British Columbia, shot a 4-under par 68 after driving 20 hours from his home. Eight other golfers qualified Sunday to join the elite field.
Golfers will tee off between noon and 2 p.m. today at the scenic course north of Park City.
