PARK CITY Peter Ahn drove all the way from Victoria, British Columbia, to shoot a 4-under-par 68 at the AJGA Glenwild Junior Qualifier, held Sunday at Park Meadows Country Club. The 20-hour drive with his dad was worth it, said Ahn, who earned a place in this week's tournament field.
Conducted by the American Junior Golf Association, the Glenwild Junior will feature 84 players from 14 states and Canada, including eight Utah natives. The event, which is being played for the first time, is a 54-hole, stroke play tournament that will begin at the Glenwild Golf Club and Spa on Tuesday.
