TOOELE Tooele County prosecutors may know as soon as today whether criminal charges will be filed against members of the Tooele High School baseball team who allegedly videotaped baseball players having sex with a girl.
On Tuesday, police gave the Tooele County Attorney's Office their investigative report of the incident, which allegedly occurred in March in St. George during a tournament, a Tooele Police Department statement said. Police referred all questions to the county attorney.
Tooele County Attorney Doug Ahlstrom said Tuesday afternoon he had not reviewed the report, although other attorneys in his office were looking at it a felony prosecutor and a juvenile prosecutor. Four juveniles and two adults are being investigated in connection to the incident, he said.
No one had been arrested or charged Tuesday in connection to the incident, Ahlstrom said.
Prosecutors will determine whether any criminal activity occurred in the videotape, Ahlstrom said. The victim in the videotape, also a high school student, is from Weber County.
