Five Media Play stores will have grand reopenings at 11 a.m. Sunday after being remodeled.
The stores are at the Family Center Mid-Valley, 5546 S. Redwood Road; The Brickyard Plaza, 1198 E. Brickyard Road; Family Center, 130 E. 1300 South, Orem; Family Center at Fort Union, 7170 S. 1000 East, Midvale; and Riverdale Family Center, 1100 W. Riverdale Drive, Riverdale.
The remodeling included expanded sections plus new product categories, including wireless, digital cameras and scrapbooking accessories.
Other opening-celebration events during the week include a Harry Potter party 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, "MLB 2005" PS2 competition 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, a scrapbooking workshop/Father's Day "make and take event" 11 a.m. June 12, a Shrek party 11 a.m. June 12, and a "take a break" listening party 1 to 3 p.m. June 12.
