Utah Blitzz owner and coach Chris Agnello announced that the company has reorganized the ownership structure of the professional soccer team. The Pro Select League team will be co-owned by John and Robert Garff, both of the Ken Garff Automotive Group; Eric Jacobsen, co-founder and managing partner of financial company Dolphin II, LLC; and Agnello.
"We are very excited for what lies ahead for the Utah Blitzz," said John Garff. "I feel confident in the team's ability for growth and success, and we look forward toward a very solid future for this organization."
The Utah Blitzz was organized by Agnello and Dell Nichols in 2001. The Utah Blitzz also hosts regular soccer clinics for the 16,000 Junior Blitzz youth players, which is estimated to grow to 40,000 within the next two years and has been involved in training the Blitzz Football Club (FC), a youth team of professional soccer hopefuls.
