Teacher is honored

SPRINGVILLE — Springville High School teacher Steve Haderlie is the Springville Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year.

Haderlie has taught chemistry and science at the high school for 27 years.

The Springville Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year award is given to a teacher who has gone beyond normal expectations.

Haderlie will receive an honorary Wal-Mart greeter's vest, a certificate of recognition and a $1,000 grant made payable to the high school.
