Michael Christensen, folklorist at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, takes a photo of a giant Olmec head at the center in West Valley City Thursday. The 6-ton, 7-foot-tall replica of an ancient Olmec head is a gift from Mexico and will be on permanent display at the center, 1355 W. 3100 South. It will be unveiled May 22.
