The Republican Convention narrowed a crowded pack of gubernatorial candidates down to two very different candidates: Nolan Karras and Jon Huntsman Jr. Another battle of substance versus style.
Karras is an accomplished public servant who came from humble beginnings. Huntsman is, well, a Huntsman. While he touts his experience, there is nothing he has done that was not the result of his family's wealth and status.
Huntsman grew up with the proverbial silver spoon and has primarily worked for his father's empire. His campaign is more about marketing and endorsements than ideas. In next month's primary, Utahns will have a choice. I will be voting for substance over style.
