A man accused of kidnapping his estranged wife earlier this week was charged Friday in 2nd District Court.
Scott A. Rainford, 34, was charged with one count of attempted homicide, one count of aggravated kidnapping and four counts of aggravated sexual abuse.
On Wednesday, Rainford allegedly kidnapped his estranged wife Rebecca Rainford, 34, while she was at Weber State University. She was found a short time later tied up in a Kaysville motel room.
Rebecca Rainford had filed a protective order against her husband just last month.
