The Salt Lake Art Center, 20 S. West Temple, will hold another Art Talk Wednesday evening at 7. Meg Linton, director of the Otis Art Gallery in Los Angeles, will discuss contemporary artists of Southern California. The event is free and open to the public.

The Museum of Contemporary Art, Fort Collins, Colo., has included 10 Utah artists in its Rocky Mountain Biennial: Jean Arnold, Connie Borup, Linnie Brown, Eileen Doktorski, Chris Dunker, Owen Y. Mortensen, George Nackos, Paul Reynolds, Brian Snapp and Roland Thompson. The exhibit opens Tuesday and runs through June 11.

The Utah State University Ceramics Guild will hold its annual spring sale on Wednesday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. in the International Lounge of the Taggart Student Center. The public is invited. For more information call 435-797-3566.

Weber State University will host J. Otto Seibold as the speaker for the Visiting Artist Lecture Series on Thursday evening at 7 in the Lindquist Lecture Hall, Room 120 of the Ethel Wattis Kimball Visual Arts Center. The Intermountain Society of Artists will meet Tuesday evening at 7 at the Sandy Senior Center, 9310 S. 1300 East. Guest speaker will be Kent Rich who discuss his method of creating art. For more information call 487-2787.

Amy Winkel, Salt Lake City, won an award for her metalsmith work and jewelry making in the Ricker-Ziebold Awards at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
