HILL AIR FORCE BASE — Four speakers in the Hill Aerospace Museum's Airplane Talk series have been scheduled for April. They include a pilot who shot down a German jet fighter during World War II and Vietnam's only air ace.

The talks are scheduled at 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

On April 3 Brig. Gen. Roland Wright, U.S. Air Force (ret.), will discuss his experiences as a P-51 pilot during WW II. He was one of the few pilots to shoot down a German ME 262 jet and was the first pilot to fly in the Utah Air Guard.

On April 10 Lt. Col. Don Harten will discuss his experience as one of three to survive a collision of two B-52s over the Pacific during a typhoon.

On April 17 Ray McMillan will discuss his experiences as a top turret gunner on a B-17.

On April 24 Brig. Gen. Steve Ritchie will relate his experiences as an F-4 Phantom pilot. He is the only Vietnam ace after destroying five MiG fighters in air-to-air combat.
