LOGAN (AP) — A woman accused in the slaying of her ex-husband has been ordered to stand trial on additional charges of forgery and communications charges.

The additional charges relate to Tamara Rhinehart's efforts to collect the victim's life insurance.

Rhinehart, 45, was bound over earlier this month on one count of capital murder in the July 8, 2003, death of Logan plumber Michael Boudrero, 47.

Rhinehart's boyfriend, Craig Duncan Nicholls, 40, confessed last year to shooting Boudrero after luring him to a North Logan home under construction with the promise of a job.

Nicholls, who implicated Rhinehart, has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Rhinehart was bound over on the forgery and communications charges Friday and also was ordered to stand trial on burglary and theft charges for allegedly sending Nicholls to burglarize her aunt's home.

First District Judge Gordon Low scheduled Rhinehart's murder trial to begin Aug. 16. A hearing on a defense motion to quash the results of the preliminary hearing is set for April 5.
