50 BOOKS, 50 COVERS, a nationally juried exhibition will be shown Thursday, 5:30-7 p.m., Special Collections, Fifth Floor, University of Utah Marriott Library. Sponsored by the library's Book Arts Program. These are current books judged to be best in design, and they include Donna Tart's "The Little Friend" and Nell Freudenberger's "Lucky Girls."

ROBERT PINSKY, 39th U.S. poet laureate and professor at Boston University, will read from his poetry Thursday, 11:30 a.m., Special Collections, Stewart Library, Weber State University, Ogden. KEN BREWER, Utah poet laureate, will read from his work, Friday, 10 a.m., same location. LAURA FURMAN, novelist and English professor, University of Texas, will read from her work, Friday, 3-4 p.m. These three events are part of the 19th annual National Undergraduate Literature Conference, April 1-3.
