The Salt Lake Art Center, 20 S. West Temple, will host another Art Talk on Wednesday evening at 7. Guest lecturer will be Fernando Orejuela, department of Folklore and Ethnomusicology, Indiana University. He will discuss Hip Hop culture. The event is free and open to the public.

The Springville Museum of Art announces a call for entries for its 80th Annual Spring Salon. Open to all Utah artists wherever they live, the exhibition will emphasize Modernism/Post Modernism, Traditional/Impressionism, Visionary and Assemblage/Conceptual art in all mediums. Brigham Young University Museum of Art will complete its lecture series, "Mystery, Metaphor and Meaning, LDS Perspectives on 'The Da Vinci Code,' " Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Lied Gallery, Level 3, of the art museum. The lecture features a panel of specialists on topics related to the book. Admission is free.

The College of Architecture & Planning will host guest lecturer Carlos Setterberg on Monday at 5:30 p.m. in Room AAC 127. Setterberg is the recipient of the 2002 Roger Bailey Traveling Fellowship. The lecture will be followed by light refreshments. For more information call 581-7174
