McGraw's summer tour to open in Virginia Beach

Tim McGraw will open his 33-city Tim McGraw and The Dancehall Doctors Out Loud Summer Tour 2004 in Virginia Beach, Va., on June 11.

"I'm excited to get back on the road with the band and share some of the new album music I've been working on for the fans," McGraw said in a statement this week.

The 36-year-old country singer is finishing his next album, yet to be titled. It's due in stores Aug. 31.

Stops on the tour, which will run through Aug. 6, include Atlanta; Tampa, Fla.; Boston; Washington; Detroit; Chicago; Denver; Salt Lake City; Los Angeles; Dallas; and Nashville, Tenn.
