Convention is Saturday

Want to learn more about Dutch oven cooking? The International Dutch Oven Society's annual spring convention takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Davis County Fairgrounds in west Farmington. The public is invited to visit the commercial exhibits, vendor booths, cooking demonstrations and workshops. A members meeting takes place at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Workshop topics include "Bread: From Flour to Finish," "Dutch Oven Cooking for the Diabetic," "How to Run a Dutch Oven Cook-Off," "Family Reunions and Large Group Cooking" and "Adapting Home Recipes for the Dutch Oven."
