DRAPER Summit Academy, a charter elementary school, is now under construction and will open this fall.
Summit Academy's 38,000-square-foot building will be located at 1300 E. 13200 South in Draper.
The school has begun soliciting and enrolling prospective students, as well as recruiting faculty members, administrators and other personnel.
The focus of Summit Academy is to offer smaller class sizes while providing a unique and diverse curriculum. The school will offer instruction from kindergarten through sixth grade.
Summit's curriculum will cover a wide spectrum of educational disciplines, including music, fine arts, theater/drama, communications, language arts and mathematics.
