Could the Deseret Morning News please consider an alternative to the phrase "Christian street preacher" ("Few changes to free-speech laws," March 6)? That phrase not only insults most Christian preachers, it also buys into the Newspeak redefinition of Latter-day Saints as non-Christian.
Why not "Protestant street preacher"? Or even more precise, and nicer to my Protestant friends, "anti-Mormon street demonstrator"?
