In response to Pamela Dew (Readers' Forum, March 4), I must add: It is true that people kill people, not guns. It is also true that careless people without guns kill people, people with poor judgment without guns kill people and absent-minded people without guns kill people. Your chances of surviving, however, are greater against "people who kill people" when you do have a gun.
The problem lies not with guns but with justice. According to the Constitution, the government should not even be able to infringe on our right to bear arms.
