Post offices will be closed, and no mail, except express mail, will be delivered across the state on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Other closings include banks, state liquor stores, city and county libraries, state and federal courts, and state, federal and local city offices.UTA buses will follow regular schedules as will public schools, garbage collection and operations at the county landfill.
For those with the day off, downtown parking at all meters will be free.
The postal service will collect mail from the blue collection boxes and the post office at the Salt Lake International Airport will be open.
A graphic in Saturday's Deseret News incorrectly stated the day and date of the Veterans Day holiday.
