Former President Jimmy Carter addresses a town hall meeting for guests of the Carter Center Winter Weekend Thursday at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort. More than 300 guests are visiting the Little Cottonwood Canyon resort through Sunday to raise funds for the global humanitarian efforts of the Carter Center. The center says it is "guided by a fundamental commitment to human rights and the alleviation of human suffering; it seeks to prevent and resolve conflicts, enhance freedom and democracy, and improve health."
