LINDON Software company Altiris Inc. has been named to the Forbes 25 Fastest Growing Technology Stars list of exceptional technology firms.
Altiris is the fourth-fastest-growing company on the list in terms of five-year sales growth. For calendar year 2003, Altiris reported revenue of $99.3 million, which represents a 58 percent increase over $62.9 million in revenue reported in 2002.
Forbes compiled the list by searching through nearly 2,500 publicly traded U.S. technology stocks, looking for companies with outstanding five-year annualized sales growth as well as consistent year-over-year sales growth of 10 percent or more in the same period. Forbes then looked for profitable firms with revenues of at least $25 million and sales growth of 10 percent or better in the latest 12 months.
