Renee Froerer has joined Salt Lake-based Riester-Robb Advertising and Public Relations as a graphic designer. Froerer is a 2003 graduate of Utah State University. Prior to joining Riester-Robb, she worked at a graphic design firm in Billings, Mont.

• Vision International, a Salt Lake-based digital printing firm, has named Dave Baker director of sales. Baker has more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing. He is a graduate of the Century University.

• W Communications, a Salt Lake-based advertising agency, announced three staff additions. Steve Babcock joined the agency as an associate creative director. Babcock is a graduate of the University of Utah. Reyn Soffe joined W as an art director. Prior to joining the agency, Soffe worked at advertising agencies in the United States and Europe. He is a graduate of the U. and the Miami Ad School. Jennie Morris was hired as an assistant account coordinator. Morris is a recent graduate of the U.

Larry Baum was named general manager of the Utah Warriors of the National Indoor Football League. Baum is a 31-year veteran of Salt Lake City sports marketing and advertising sales management. He will oversee all aspects of team operations during the Warriors' second season in the NIFL.

Marilee C. Wilson has joined Risk Managers Inc., a property and liability insurance and consulting agency, as vice president of agency development. Wilson has 17 years of experience in the insurance industry and is on the board of directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Utah.

James Davis has been appointed chairman of the board of Shriners Hospitals for Children, Intermountain. Davis has served on the 17-member regional board for seven years, most recently as vice chairman. Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of 22 charity hospitals providing care for children in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Davis is co-owner of three Utah Davis Jubilee Food and Drug stores.

• Thaifoon-Taste of Asia has named Wendy Nelsen as group sales manager of the restaurant. She will promote large party and group dining opportunities as well as manage promotions, special events and community relations. Thaifoon is located at The Gateway.
