Illinois State transfer Dirk Williams led the Eagles (13-13) over the Wolverines (15-4) with 23 points.

Williams hit five of Robert Morris' 10 treys and was key in the final six minutes after UVSC outscored Robert Morris 12-2 during a four-minute run in which the Wolverines rallied to within one at 56-55.

But Williams upped RMC's lead back to three with a jumper with 4:33 left in the game. Jon Bell scored for UVSC to trim the deficit back to one, 58-57, but Williams answered with his fourth three-pointer and a 61-57 lead with 3:37 to play.

The teams exchanged baskets and RMC led 66-62 when UVSC's Price was fouled shooting a three-pointer with 10 seconds left.

Price made the first two free throws but missed the third and the Wolverines trailed 66-64 when they fouled RMC's Tyke Bohanan with four seconds left in the game.

Bohanan missed the back end of a one-and-one, giving UVSC a hurried chance to tie the game. But Toolson's long three-pointer at the buzzer was no good.
