Elder Wirthlin to talk at Marriott fireside

PROVO — Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at a Church Educational System fireside Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Marriott Center at Brigham Young University.

Elder Wirthlin was ordained an apostle of the Church on Oct. 9, 1986, after serving in the Presidency of the Seventy since April 1986. He was called to the First Quorum of the Seventy in April 1976 after serving for one year as an Assistant to the Council of the Twelve Apostles.

The fireside will be broadcast live on the BYU-Television and BYU-Radio satellite networks and at byubroadcasting.org.
