Jason Richardson scored 31 points, including seven 3-pointers, and the Golden State Warriors stopped a 12-game road losing streak by beating Portland 105-87 Saturday in Portland.

Erick Dampier had 20 rebounds and 18 points for the Warriors. Speedy Claxton added 15 points, seven assists and five steals.

Golden State was 11-of-17 on 3-pointers and shot 50 percent overall. The Warriors had lost 11 in a row at Portland, dating to 1998.

Darius Miles played for the first time since being traded to the Trail Blazers by Cleveland for guard Jeff McInnis and center Ruben Boumtje Boumtje. Miles scored 12 points in 20 minutes.

Dale Davis returned to the Blazers after abruptly leaving practice Friday, unhappy at finding out he would be fined for missing a flight to Minnesota on Jan.7.

Ruben Patterson made his first career start, taking Davis' place in the lineup. Davis was scoreless with one rebound in 20 minutes.

Portland coach Maurice Cheeks said Davis will be fined again for leaving practice.

Zach Randolph had 23 points and seven rebounds for the Trail Blazers. Rasheed Wallace added 13 points and nine rebounds.

Portland was as close as 84-79 in the fourth quarter, but too many defensive breakdowns left the Warriors wide open. By the time Richardson made his final two 3-pointers, the lead was up to 96-83.

Golden State opened up with a 24-9 lead, shooting 72 percent in the first 8:02 of the game, as Portland struggled to get back on defense.

Dampier had a double-double by halftime, and the Warriors led 58-52.

Portland got as close as 62-61, but broke down again on defense, allowing Richardson to hit open 3s.

WIZARDS 107, PACERS 96: At Washington, Kwame Brown had a career-high 25 points and nine rebounds, and Washington shot 63 percent in the first half and held on to beat Indiana.

Brown made eight of 12 shots, nine of 10 free throws and had the better in a matchup against fellow straight-out-of-high-schoolers Jermaine O'Neal and Al Harrington. Brown, who has struggled for consistency over much of his career, is averaging 13 points and 7.8 rebounds over his last 11 games.

Steve Blake added a career-high 18 points for the Wizards, who never trailed and have won three of four.
