Deny ancestors choice?

Even living Jews may choose to become Mormon Christians by taking upon themselves the name of Jesus Christ and being baptized. Gary Mokotoff would deny his own dead ancestors this choice by equating Mormon vicarious temple baptisms to the raping of souls, as expressed in his opinion piece "Posthumous baptism is a terrible insult to Jews."

His continued sensitivity to perceived injustices committed by past generations of people long dead is itself a tragedy. This chosen rage is what perpetuates religious wars worldwide. Would he ever regret his own insensitivity in calling himself "Gary" — a Christian name?

How can we help to bring an end to this perpetuation of verbal madness?
