AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF

COLTS (13-4) AT CHIEFS (13-3)

11 a.m.

Aside from New England, Indianapolis is the most impressive team in the AFC, maybe even the NFL. Two weeks after losing to Denver in the regular season, the Colts thoroughly dismantled the Broncos in last week's wild-card game, 41-10, getting a "perfect" performance from quarterback Peyton Manning, who threw five touchdowns, and a defense that stymied Jake Plummer and Clinton Portis. Despite finishing with the second-best record in the AFC, Kansas City stumbled to the playoffs, losing two of their last four and allowing an average of 27 points in their past seven games. The Chiefs were 8-0 at Arrowhead Stadium this year, but the Colts were 7-1 on the road.

Prediction: Colts, 31-24

NFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF

PACKERS (11-6) AT EAGLES (12-4)

2:45 p.m.

There might not be a hotter — and more fortunate — team in the NFC than Green Bay. One week after getting into the playoffs because of a last-second loss by Minnesota, the Packers won for the seventh time in the eight weeks when cornerback Al Harris returned an interception for a touchdown in overtime last week against Seattle. Philadelphia did not exactly back into the playoffs, either. The Eagles won 10 of their past 11 games during the regular season — the only loss came in overtime against the 49ers in Week 15 — to win the NFC East and gain home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. If they beat the Packers, as they did in Week 10 at Lambeau Field (17-14), they'll be in the NFC Championship game for the third year in a row.

Prediction: Eagles, 21-17
