PrimeTime (9 p.m., Ch. 4): Pete Rose admits he's been lying — that he really did bet on baseball. But we're supposed to believe he's telling the truth when he says he didn't bet on his own team. Right.

ER (9 p.m., Ch. 5): Carter returns from Africa with his pregnant girlfriend.
