Vocalists and musicians are sought

• The Orchestra and Chorus of Sandy City are looking for vocalists and musicians for its May concert. Interested artists should call 309-3847 to set up auditions.

• The Mormon Tabernacle Choir has announced openings for first sopranos and second basses. Singers can download application materials at www.mormontabernaclechoir.org. Auditions will be held the first week in July 2004.

Applications, which must be postmarked by Jan. 30, 2004, should be sent to Mormon Tabernacle Choir, 50 East North Temple Street, 20th Floor, Salt Lake City, UT 84150.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

— Singers must be between ages 25 and 55.

— Must live within a 100-mile radius of the Salt Lake Tabernacle.

— Must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in good standing.
