In response to Jamie Hunsaker who states that "gay cruisers should not be afforded special or unequal treatment": They aren't. In Salt Lake City, there is a program run by The Harm Reduction Project, which is a sex workers diversion program for female offenders. This is a six-month program geared to helping women who engage in sex work find alternatives to their lifestyle, harm reduction and therapy.
These are the same alternatives offered to men in the "Johns" program who are arrested soliciting a sex worker. The fact that gay men are now offered the same type of program is finally equalizing the criminal system.
