Provo pushing for porn

Something has gone awfully wrong in Provo. The City Council is pushing forward a proposal to get into the smut business.

In Provo, you can't buy a pornographic magazine, yet the City Council wants to spend $40 million on a fiber optic network that will allow residents easier access to pornographic Internet sites, cable programming and on-demand movies. Purveyors of sleaze will be able to lease this network to pipe virtually anything they want into our homes.

At some point, we have to say "enough is enough." Call your elected officials to let them know that you do not support using your tax dollars for so-called "infrastructure" that allows city-sponsored pornography to become a reality.
