JARUZELSKI, WALESA TO MEET FOR TALKS

President Wojciech Jaruzelski and Solidarity leader Lech Walesa will meet Tuesday to discuss the appointment of a new Polish prime minister, Walesa said Monday. He told journalists he would travel to Warsaw from his home in the northern port city of Gdansk for the meeting.

He said Jaruzelski telephoned him with the invitation, which follows weeks of speculation about the possible appointment of a Solidarity prime minister.Solidarity sources said Walesa broke off his summer vacation to return to Gdansk for Jaruzelski's call.
