OK, so Burger King management was not aware of the law, and they made a bad judgment call asking a nursing mother to leave the restaurant (or nurse in the bathroom, which I would have done). This story has been in the paper for three days now, and what happened to Catherine Geary and her family is unfortunate.
But for people to stage a "nurse-in"? Come on! Let's move on. Burger King did apologize, after all. I hope that postpartum hormones don't end up making me behave this way.
