Athletes help students score one for learning

BYU women's basketball player Danielle Cheesman, second from right, works on the computer with Rebecca Clegg a 4th-grader at Joaquin Elementary in Provo. Another BYU player, Ambrosia Anderson, standing, also steps in to help. The players are working with an online sports program from the Mountain West Conference that helps students learn math and language skills. Students can pick their favorite sport — and favorite MWC team — to score more points when they give the right answers.
