After a successful season in which the Taylorsville Warriors went 6-4 and earned a berth in the 5A state football playoffs, Brad Molen has resigned as the team's head coach.
Molen enjoyed six successful seasons at Taylorsville, which included a region championship and a state championship game appearance in 1999.
"He has done a fine job," said Taylorsville principal Jerry Haslam. "I compliment him on everything he's done here."
Molen will remain as a teacher at Taylorsville High School, in addition to coaching boys' track and assisting with boys' basketball.
